NBA trades: Allen Iverson to Detroit Pistons. It's not an NBA trade rumours, it is an NBA trade news. The biggest 2008 NBA trades has just happened, bigger than Shaq trade. Allen Iverson traded to Detroit Pistons from Denver Nuggets in exchange of three Detroit Pistons players:

Antonio McDyess
Cheikh Samb

I think it's too bad that Chauncey Billups was traded to Denver Nuggets, because he is one of the best Detroit Pistons players. But if we want to trade a star player like Allen Iverson, we need to let go our star player also. The positive side is we as an NBA fans are able to see how Allen Iverson and Richard Hamilton playing together and maybe this NBA trade could bring immediate results and increase Detroit Pistons and Denver Nuggets chances to win NBA titles.

LA Lakers with Kobe Bryant as a leader wins against Denver Nuggets 104-97. It's LA Lakers third straight wins at the beginning of NBA season. While LA Lakers wins, last season NBA champions, Boston Celtics, loses 79-95 to Indiana Pacers. It's a good NBA result for LA Lakers fans.

Is it a sign that LA Lakers would win NBA title this season? not yet, but the performance of Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol is becoming more solid. 2008/09 NBA season has just begun, hopefully, LA Lakers and Boston Celtics would meet again on NBA finals, but this time LA Lakers would be the winner of NBA title. Beijing Olympic result :

USA basketball team win the 2008 Beijing Olympic gold medal. At the Beijing Olympic Final, US basketball team beats Spain basketball team with 118-107.

Dwayne Wade led all scorers from US team with 27 points, followed by Kobe Bryant with 20 points. It wasn't an easy game for USA basketball team because Spain basketball players did a great job, especially Pau Gasol with 21 points and Fernandez with 22 points.

What a great match. With the performance like that from both teams, it is most likely that next season NBA games would be more exciting. Why ? because Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol would bring LA Lakers to the top plus Dwayne Wade would redeem himself and bring Miami Heat to NBA Finals.

Congrats to team USA and look forward to watch NBA games next season .

Boston Celtics won the game sixth NBA finals against LA Lakers with 131-92. With this result, the aggregate score became 4-2 for Boston Celtics. At first, i doubted that Boston Celtics could win the game sixth because Boston Celtics had fatigue problems. I think the turning point was when Boston Celtics could steal one game from LA Lakers.

Too bad for LA Lakers, because if they could win the sixth game, then the score would be 3-3 and they would play NBA Final game seventh. It would give LA Lakers a greater chance to win the NBA title because Boston Celtics would run out of gas.

Congrats to Boston Celtics team and players, especially to Kevin Garnett, because his decision to move to Boston Celtics is correct. Kevin Garnet, vini vidi vici.

NBA announced that 2008 MVP Award goes to Kobe Bryant. I think he deserves the Most Valuable Player award presented by KIA Motors because his performance this season was amazing. It was a surprised for me that this MVP award is the first award for Kobe Bryant. Can you imagine how come for a player as dominant as Kobe Bryant has just received one award ? yes, the competition in NBA is very tight.

Congratulation to Kevin Garnett for his decision to move from Minnesota Timberwolves to Boston Celtics. The 2008 season hasn't ended yet but he has already gotten the prize. East Conference won against west conference by 134-128 . In the east team, there are two favorites to win the MVP, Ray Allen and Lebron James. Although Ray Allen scored 28 points and Lebron James only 27 points but Lebron James also had nine assists and eight rebounds. So that's why Lebran James was selected to be the 2008 NBA All Star Most Valuable Player.

The 2008 Slam Dunk Contest is the best slam dunk contest since Vince Carter era. This year slam dunk contest was far from boring, many new innovations in slam dunk techniques. Gerald Green with his birthday cake dunk and Dwight Howard with his superman costume dunk. Both players were great but Dwight Howard showmanship was better, so NBA fans voted for him. Based on this year result, next year would be thougher because to win Slam Dunk Contest, contestants not only need great techniques but also need new innovations. What a nice idea, Dwight Howard !

Win win solution between Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat

I don't understand why Miami Heat would let Shaquille O'neal go to Phoenix Suns. Maybe it was because of his age and injuries plus Miami Heat suffered many losses, so they needed new way to break the deadlock. Then Miami traded Shaq with two players, Shawn Marion and Marcus Bank from Phoenix Suns. Hopefully, Miami Heat could be solved by this trade.

How about Phoenix Suns ?
Is this trade a blunder for Phoenix Suns ?
i don't think so because Phoenix Suns needs a big center like Shaq to compete with San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks for this year NBA title. C'mon Shaq proves your true value and be the NBA Champion again.

In my view, this trade is a win-win solution for both Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks. Is it good deal ? Just wait and see !

If someone ask me , who is the wonderkid in NBA right now, i would say LeBron James. He has a complete skill and technique for a basketball player. Last year , he led his team to the NBA finals. Most of my basketball card collections are Anfernee " Penny " Hardaway basketball cards. I collected the cards when he played for Orlando Magic. There are some reasons why i chose Penny Hardaway :

He has a strong character and a charisma
His basketball skills are fantastic
Alongside Shaquille O'Neal, he brought Orlando Magic to the NBA finals.

For 2007/08 NBA season, he will play for Miami Heat, i hope he can achieve a great success, not like when he played for Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks. Wow , i can't wait to see him playing alongside his former partner Shaguille O'Neal and his new partner Dwyane Wade. I hope he can play at his best and his basketball card value will gap up.
